lunchline's Advisory Council is comprised of child nutrition professionals who are working in the industry every day. This group brings years of experience, knowledge, and most importantly, what is happening on a daily basis in their schools. This is the "go to" team for a simple question to focus groups with students to sensory testing. They bring years of experience along with a dedication to feeding our nations’ school children.

Mary Anderson, winner of the 2010 Winner of SNA’s Silver Leadership Award, is currently
the director in the Wayzata School District located in Plymouth, MN. Mary is very active within MSNA and is current past president of the organization. She has been involved in school meal programs for over 25 years holding similar positions throughout the Minneapolis/St. Paul
metro area.
Susan Niemczyk, currently a visiting instructor at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, IN, where she teaches Advanced Food Service Management to senior students weeks away from their first professional food service management opportunities. Formerly a Vice President with Sodexo's Education Division, Susan is an RD with more than 35 years of experience in all facets of feeding people - from infants to seniors. She has worked with the Milwaukee and Chicago Public Schools as well as school managers all over the country, some in school districts as small as a single building, developing operational plans including nutritional aspects, operations, marketing, finances, training and student education. Her favorite challenge is working with students to prepare them for their futures - both personal and professional!
Rodney Taylor has 34-years experience in the food service industry, having worked in college and university, fast-food, dining, management consultant, and school food service administration. He is a noted pioneer, and expert in farm-to-school salad bars. He also serves as a consultant for many aspects of school nutrition programs.
Rodney has been the Director, Nutrition Services Riverside Unified School District since August 2002. In this capacity he plans, organizes, and directs the department's self-supporting nutritional services program -- the 15th largest district in the state of California. The program provides more than 34,000 meals per day, at 47 school sites in addition to child- care, private schools, and the Riverside County Office of Education programs. He manages an annual Budget in excess of $17.5 million. He held previous leadership positions with the Santa Monica School District and the Marriott Corporation.
Rodney serves on the University Of California President’s Advisory Commission for Agriculture and Natural resources. He is a charter member of the Kellogg Foundation supported National Farm to School Network and the School Food FOCUS program. Rodney holds memberships in the School Nutrition Association, American Diabetes Association, Los Angeles Urban-Rural Roundtable, and the Executive Committee of the Network for a Healthy California's Statewide Collaborative. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards: In 2010 he received the Riverside Human Relations Commission "Heroes Award" and the N.A.A.C.P. "Education Award" just to name a few.
Richard Greene has been the Director of Nutrition Services at Newport-Mesa Unified since August of 1997. He recently served a two year term as Chairperson of the California State Department of Education’s “Child Nutrition Advisory Council” in Sacramento. Mr. Greene is a native of Boston and a career professional in the Hospitality Industry. He began his work in child nutrition in California schools in 1989. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America at Hyde Park, New York and he attended Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts where he obtained his teaching credential in Vocational Education. Mr. Greene taught cooking, baking, and food service management in vocational high schools in Massachusetts. He has held various positions in the hospitality industry including Regional Manager in the western United States for a national hospitality management firm, Food and Beverage Director and Resident Manager for Hilton Hotels, Food Production Manager for Marriott Hotels, and various consulting assignments across the United States.
Teresa Mee holds a Bachelors degree in Food Science and Dietetics and is a Registered Dietician. Her early experience spans Hospitals, Long Term Care, and Business & Industry facilities. In 2004 she began with a software company to instruct nutrient analysis for hospitals and schools. This school experience prompted her to begin working at Capistrano Unified as a Supervisor and Nutrition Education Specialist. Enjoying the school foodservice market segment she later became the Director at Novato Unified School District and for the past 8 years has been the Director of Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified District. Teresa has recently accepted the position of Director of Child Nutrition at Buena Park School District.
She has held numerous positions in the California School Nutrition Association and the Southern California School Nutrition Association including: Nutrition Standards Chair 2007-2009, Corresponding Secretary 2006-2007, Recording Secretary 2008-2009, LAC Fundraising Committee 2005, Southern Section CASBO (California School Business Association) R&D Chair 2008-2010, CASBO Job-Alike Coordinator 2004-2010; adn participation in the following committees: After School Physical Activity Committee, Healthy Schools Committee Culinary Arts, Evaluation Committee.
